- A tree that can be felled in one piece is the cheap case. One that must be climbed and taken down in sections over a roof, a fence or a power line is the expensive one, and the difference is larger than the difference in size.
- Height and diameter
- Both are priced, and diameter matters more at the top end because it decides how much wood has to be cut and carried.
- The stump

- Disposal
